Our Mission ~ To provide opportunities for all to learn and develop spiritually.

Bay Center for Spiritual Development is a 501c-3 nonprofit organization with a focus on spiritual development and the provision of educational programs and events that offer opportunities for support, networking and for personal and professional development for members of the community. The Bay Center continues its development as an effective resource in our community; helping people take pause and to reflect on their lives, for individuals and groups that seek a holistic approach in both their personal and professional lives.

Hospitality, workshops, quiet days, meditation, outdoor labyrinth and ecumenical worship are offered. This is done through partnerships in the community.

Labrynth

Bay Center has been active since 2001 and has served as host to a wide range of activities to benefit the community with its community garden, Peace Day events, Helpers and Healers Gatherings, weekly prayer and meditation for the community, small group educational opportunities, and more. It offers space for spiritual direction, counseling, yoga classes, Alanon groups and other gatherings.

The Bay Center is conveniently located in Kilmarnock, Virginia, a hub for the Northern Neck. It draws participants from the Northern Neck and Middle Peninsula, as well as from Richmond and the Tidewater area of Virginia.

Carol J. Burke serves as the Director of the Bay Center and it is governed by an active and dedicated Board of Directors.
